If you have chosen to have Evergenius set up your website, we take care of the hosting for the content. Some users may already have an existing domain URL they wish to keep. For these users, we are able to use their existing domain for the new site.

Please note that this is a general guide, since domain registrars can vary. If you're not sure or are unable to locate the correct settings, contact our support for assistance.

  1. Visit your domain registrar's settings or contact your domain registrar - your domain registrar is the company that you bought your domain from - common domain hosts include GoDaddy, Namecheap, Domain.com, Hover, but there are many others. Ensure you have the correct domain name before proceeding!

  2. Locate the DNS Record for the domain. This is usually in the form of a table that includes a number of values, including A record, CNAME, NS, TXT, and so on.

  3. Locate the NS (or name server) record and replace the existing values with the following:

  4. Once complete, send a message to us at support notifying us of the successful DNS record modification. We are able to take control of the domain and use it for the site that you or we have built.

ATTENTION! Please note that while we have control of the domain for the hosting with these changes, we are not hosting the domain. We are not a domain registrar. You still need to maintain your service with the domain registrar you bought the domain with in order to maintain ownership of the domain.
