In this article, I'll show you how to use each of the Shopify Event Conditions and Lead Properties in the Email Automation Builder. 

Note: These features are not enabled for all accounts. So if you don't see them, please contact support to enable it for your account.

There are 7 Shopify Event Conditions available:

Added Product to Cart
Cancelled Order
Logged In
Order Shipped
Placed Order
Refunded Order
Signed Up

There are 5 Shopify Lead Properties available:

Average Order Value
Cart Items (Number of items in their cart)
Cart Total (Total value of the items in their cart)
Orders
Revenue

How to access Shopify Event Conditions

To access Shopify Event Conditions in the Conditions panel, click on the More dropdown in the Add Conditions box, then click on Shopify:



How to choose different Shopify Event Conditions

You can choose from all the Shopify Event Conditions from the Filter dropdown in the Shopify Event Condition panel (it will be set to Placed Order by default):



Then, click on the dropdown to choose from all of the Shopify Event Conditions:



Using Constraints

Constraints are additional options for each Shopify Event Condition. The Placed Order Condition, for example, has constrains for Product and Subtotal.

Example Use Case: You can send an email to a customer who ordered a specific product from your Shopify Store using the Product Constraint. Here's how to do it:

Click on the Add Constraint button



Click on the Choose Constraint dropdown and select P_roduct_ from the menu



In the far-right field, enter that it contains Product Name or SKU (the format for the Product Constraint is "Product Name (SKU)"



Added Product to Cart

This Condition occurs every time a customer adds a product to their cart in your Shopify Store. 

Constraints

Product - (Format: "Product Name (SKU)")
Price Amount
Quantity - (Total number of this product added to cart)
Collections
Product Type
SKU
Tags - (Product Tags)

Cancelled Order

This Condition occurs every time a customer cancels an order in your Shopify Store. 

Constraints

Product - (Format: "Product Name (SKU)")
Subtotal - (doesn't include taxes, shipping and order discounts)
Discount Amount
Discount Code
Discount Type
Shipping Amount
Taxes Amount
Total Amount - (includes taxes, shipping and order discounts)
Cancel Reason

Logged In

This Condition occurs every time a customer logs in to your Shopify Store. It doesn't have any Constraints.

Order Shipped

This Condition occurs every time a customer's order is shipped from your Shopify Store. 

Constraints

Product - (Format: "Product Name (SKU)")
Order ID
Subtotal - (doesn't include taxes, shipping and order discounts)
Discount Amount
Discount Code
Discount Type
Shipping Amount
Taxes Amount
Total Amount - (includes taxes, shipping and order discounts)

Placed Order

This Condition occurs every time a customer places an order in your Shopify Store.

Shipping Amount
Taxes Amount

Refunded Order

This Condition occurs every time a customer refunds an order in your Shopify Store. 

Constraints

Product - (Format: "Product Name (SKU)")
Order ID
Total Amount - (includes taxes, shipping and order discounts)

Signed Up

This Condition occurs when a customer signs up in your Shopify Store. It doesn't have any Constraints.

Visited Product Page

This Condition occurs every time a customer visits a product page in your Shopify Store.

How to access Shopify Lead Properties

Shopify Lead Properties are available in the Lead Properties Condition:



They work the exact same as other Lead Properties.
