The leads database is the hub that connects all of your campaigns with marketing automation. Leads collected through your different Wishpond campaigns are organized and categorized within the leads database using lead profiles and lists.

While it is possible to connect a marketing automation campaign to a campaign directly, the leads database offers more flexibility in terms of searching for and manipulating leads prior to setting up a automation workflow. Think of the leads database as the middleman between all of your campaigns and marketing automation.
