There are two main types of lists in Wishpond, smart lists and static lists. The main difference is that smart lists pull users in dynamically depending on whether or not they meet certain conditions or not. Static lists are much more rigid and can be categorized by either a CSV uploaded into Wishpond, or a list that is connected to a specific campaign (which only adds users based on whether they converted on a campaign on not).

Both have different usages. A lot of businesses prefer to keep a static list of all of their leads as a masterfile but then use smart lists to segment their leads into smaller groups in order to target users more effectively.
