Enabling Salesforce API Access

In order to integrate your Enterprise Salesforce account with Wishpond, you will need have enabled your Salesforce API Access. Before getting started, you will need to grab your Salesforce Administrator as this requires certain permissions. 

Enabling API Access by Profile

1. Access Setup in the upper right hand corner of your Salesforce account. 

2. Go to Manage Users and click Profiles

 

3. Choose the specific Profile and select System Permissions under Apps.

4. Select Edit and check the API Enabled box. 

5. Don't forget to Save your changes! 

Enabling API Access by Permission Set

1. Click Setup in the upper right hand corner of your Salesforce account. 

2. Go to Manage Users and click Permission Sets

3. Choose your chosen Permission Set, scroll down to System and selectSystem Permissions

4. Select Edit and check the API Enabled box. 

5. Don't forget to Save your changes!

FAQ

1. Bulk API with the Professional Edition of Salesforce

Enabling the bulk API with the Salesforce Professional edition will require an additional cost. In order to make this upgrade, you will need to contact your Salesforce account manager.
